Missing winter

I work in retail and all day long I here people talking about this weather. So I say to them I wish the snow was back and the looks I get from them are not good. So I thought I would get on and see who else misses the snow? This warm weather is okay, I like it for a while but now the mountains are getting ugly and you cant get away from the heat anywhere. At least in the winter everything looks better in white the mountains the yard everything, in the winter you can always warm up the summer it seems its hot everywhere. But most of all I have had the past four winters cut very short due to surgeries and I am finally ready for a year without injury, surgery and just a heII of allot of riding and snow.

Summer I always could do without its ok but I like spring, fall and winter. Last week when it was in the high 80's I broke out some sledding DVD's, it was refreshing to know that snow is only 4 months away in (mid October).

No question that I like winter over winter. I think this would be the case even if I didn't snowmobile. You can always warm up and put more clothes on, you can only take so much off. And like you said, when it's really hot it's hard to escape the heat.

I do love having the 4 seasons though. As soon as I'm tired of the cold I know spring is around the corner, and then when I get tired of the heat I know fall is around the corner. It's a great mix.

I guess it would be better If I still had a bike. I miss riding the trails and tracks but most of all I miss racing.

Winters are awesome, but I realy enjoy getting out with the kid and riding in the summer also. If you get above 8500 ft it cools off a bit

I always miss winter but I would never say the mountains are getting ugly. Fresh mountain air? Green grass and blooming flowers? Rivers running, lakes full and all of it because of winter. I'm a seasonal person. I like them all. If I didn't I move as far North as possible.

I agree with you about injuries. They do SUCK!!!

My brother went up there 2 weeks ago said they had a fun snowball fight. It made me laugh a lady came though my line the other day wearing a Ragnar shirts so I asked here what leg she ran. she looked up and said "the wrong one".
So I laughed and asked why the she stated They had to extend her leg 2 miles to go around the snow.

Oh yeah, I do miss winter but the mountains are pretty anytime of the year.
