Has anybody seen acouple guys on 163 summit x's in the Winthrop area? they went out today with a friend to either harts pass, highway 20 or LoupLoup.Nobody has heard from them yet. any info would be great.

Has search and rescue been notified? I just called Chad and he didnt answer...probably means he's out looking?? Ill be there in the early morning and will start searching if they havent turned up yet.

they are in newer chev or gmc 3/4 ton with asled bed. truck is white. I beleive sherriff has been notified.

I met with the guys last night when they got off the mountain (at 10:45) and it was my understanding that the king cat had a recent track extension and that it stabbed, snapping the drive shaft...they tried to tow it up out of the hole but that is a long climb. Finally left it at 9:45 and got down at 10:45. went back this morning with a chainsaw winch and got it out. Just glad the guys are all safe.
