Missing antifreeze, where could it be going?

Apologies if I am repeating something that has already been said - I'm at work and don't have time to read everyone's posts.

We had a pro in our group that was doing this. The only thing that we noticed was that the coolant was foaming up a little. Dealer compression tested the motor and it was good. Pressure tested the cooling system and it was good as well. Strange issue - ended up being the head - slightly out of spec. cut the head a few thousandths and put it back together - problem solved.

Good luck,
Perk

I've pulled the head off havent found anything earth shattering my eyes don't see any wash anywhere. I took pics of everything . I will post them up later maybe someone else will see something

Tops of pistons look the same, do see a little more rock than I'd like, might be time for some pistons while I am this far

What I did find was the little 1/2' 90 degree elbow that feeds the head was loser than it should be. I tightened it 2 full turns. Hoping thats all it was, BUT I did a little start up test between mine and a '12 switchback to see if I could notice anything with exhaust color or smell

Mine seemed to smoke alot whiter, and longer. Makes me think its still an internal leak

I bought 100% new gaskets, so everything will be getting changed out since I cant see any wash any where

Last thing is I have a new gasket and mechanical seal, how much of a pain is it to change that baby. never done one. If it that seal would coolant be collecting in the crank case and causing the smoke issue on start up it was whiter for a good minute longer than the sled I compared to

The problem I see right now is that I have some many variables and there is no stand out that I can say, "ya thats it"
