I rode with both Nicole and Amy over New Years in Revelstoke, these girls rip! Everytime I look back Nicole is right on my *** breakin trail at the front of the pack. Very cool to see! heres a couple pics of both girls! Nicole is rippin it up on my 174 mcx nytro, the only trouble was tryin to get it back from her! I wouldnt mind riding her m1000 if it were not for the pink detail.....

I forgot to mention to that Nicole drives her own truck with her own sled all the way from Oregon, 13 hour drive to Revy and this was her second trip already this season....Thats Extreme!

The Marmot has many redeeming qualities. One of them being the patent pending move called the Marmot! Get's a sled unstuck so much faster! hehehehe

I am hoping that the other 3 (Abby, Melissa and Amy) will get some fantastic photos to submit for the 2010 Calendar!
I've ridden hard with Amy, Emily and Nicole and ya, wow comes to mind! Haven't had the opportunity to ride with Abby or Melissa (been on the same mountain as Melissa.... just not ridden with) but feel they would WOW me just the same.
Which ever of these 5 gets picked, they will rock the next Tahoe Film. VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!!!!!

Well, I have to say each one of the contestants have EXTREME passion for this sport. Skill. Each girl has an entirely different style from the other as well.
I have rode with following three.
Nichole who is a Oregan boondock'n fool. Before long, with her current M1000 set up, will be pulling those Revy chutes, I truly believe (if not already).
Emily can handle the Skidoo Rev well. Her specialty being long distance sidehilling of the Rev Chassis.
Melissa who is one off the best kept secretes out there, who has been out of the mainstream eye (however not probably anymore!)! She has incredible finesse & style, and flawless drive for inner achievement as a whole. Truly someone who has impressed me & humbled me. A true athlete & role model of the industry as well. She will not tell you how accomplished she is when you ride with her, however she will leave you speechless when she throttles up! From technical climbs to tearing up a gladed meadow.
Though I have not had the honor to ride with Abby or Amy, I wish them the very best & congrats to this achievement & their self goals.
Abby's essay truly portrays a sled head addict! I can relate to the enthusiasm & probably could not come close to expressing it written format as she did.
Amy, you go girl! I think in the future we should hook up & slay a few chutes together here in the lower 48!
Working with Thomas three winters ago was very much an honor, along with the experience of the talent he introduces each season, (occasionally getting to ride with those people & learn from them) through his Miss Extreme, & Be Extreme Contest!!

Wow....what outstanding representation we women have with these 5 finalists...I have also ridden with 3 of them...and I'm sure the other two are amazing as well.

I can't wait to see who the winner is and this contest has brought a lot more attention to the female shredders out there. We are represented well in this industry/lifestyle...all different forms, chute slayers/boondockers/racers/trail riders, etc and all are equally as important.

That's ok, Nicole. Next time your up, we can strap you to Laird's sled and we will film you for MISS BOOSTALICIOUS. You might have to pull the monster chute to really convice us though. Laird... is this ok with you ?
