So my kid decided today that he wants to start riding... but I will admit I don't know the first thing about kid's sleds! Anyone got any advice on choosing a sled for a ten year old?
Thanks!
:beer;

do they still make them? I was on the 'Doo site today and didn't see any kids sleds. Looks like they have disco'd the mini z too.

they don't make them in the 300 any more need to find a used one. they make in the 550

I just received an email from someone selling a 2003 Polaris XC 340 sled for $1850. It says; Excellent shape, 962 miles, Reverse, windsheild bag.

Looks real clean. PM for his email address.

i have the same problem my kid is to big for her 120 dragon stock so we can either put the bigger motor in it or put that money into a bigger sled that she has a hard time handeling

Going Green

I thought "Going Green" was for hippies and environmentalist. I dont want to go green. Cant we make postive rep a different color to avoid the "go green" term. lol :D

Phazer are good kids sleds i have 2 for sale
2000 phazer mountain lite 1700 miles
$2195.00
1996 phazer mountain lite 1700 miles
0 on complete new engine lots of new parts
$1500.00
thanks mick

forget the hippies, green means GO! and red means stop. Therefore Green=good, red=not so good... red lights, red stop signs, red ink on your midterms, yer girliefriend yelling "stop!", etc....

How much sledding experience and what type of sledding would your kid be doing?

You should be able to pick up an old Polaris 340 indy lite for cheap. Good reliable sleds with the ability to modify as needed.

If he is hardcore and is going to be riding a ton the ski-doo freestyle would be a great sled but substantially more money.

me say..green good.....red bad

the boy is 9 and I've gotten him a 91 phazer II long track

it'll work but he's not going to throw it around like a mini on roids

like this, but more engine and wider track
