MILKY FLUID in the Supercharger Reservoir

Follow up.

1. Pumped out the milky fluid from the reservoir.

2. Filled the reservoir with AFT.

3. Ran the engine and bled the lines of the milky fluid till they ran CLEAR RED.

4. Removed and replaced the Oil Filter.

5. Drained the reservoir of all ATF

6. Filled it with Traction fluid.

7. Ran the engine and bled the lines till they ran CLEAR BLUE.

Process took 1.5 pints of traction oil to flush everything out.

The reservoir exhaust vent line now lives inside of the tube frame.
Should keep it 100% protected from any water ingestion.

Missed this thread, but as a side note:

If you run the system with H2O in the oil, it WILL wreck stuff - I took out a charger shaft and bearing.

There is a reason the instructions tell you to check the fluid before each ride... It's not to verify level; it's to ensure there is no water in the system.

They make quite a charming "chime" through the impeller when there is water in the fluid... i.e. - if it sounds funny, CHECK THE OIL!!!

not having a super charger myself but a turbo to many problems vs a turbo had powderlites turbo 3 years and not one problem not to mention all the other benefits of having a turbo BOOST ROOSTIN

Once my son is out of the hospital life should get back to normal and I will finally get the sled torn down post Canada. Will report back if there is ANY further sign of water infiltration after the relocation of the exhaust vent.
