Posting this with Dunatic's permission ..

Finally got around to creating a page on facebook that I've had rollin' around in my head for a long time. . ..a page for us midwest flatlanders to connect up with other riders when someone drops out of your trip, or ya have a seat open up and ya need to fill it. .. ..a place to advertise yer dates, where your going, and letting eveyone know what kinda riders ya want going with you- you know . .drinkin' or not, hills and climbing or trees and meadows, avvy trained, what gear they have, riding experience, etc.. ..the kind of stuff your going to want to know about someone you don't know and your life could depend on- . .. .. I've done this the past 3 years or so with guys from here off of Snowest and had some pretty good trips and met some pretty kool guys .. but I think there's a lot more riders out there using FB nowadays that may find riders there faster and easier. . . . so . . if ya agree then go ahead and send a request to join and if ya already have a trip planned and have a seat open then post that info up and pray for snow like Buffalo got! . . .thanks guys n gals..

Snow is blowin' all across the Rocky's so bringing this back to the front for guys who aren't on the page already . .we've added a couple security questions that need to be answered before you get approved on the page..so please answer those!..or Chris will whack ya! ...the page has around 650 members now but it's the time of year where we push a little to get more people on board. ..so check it out if your a midwestern rider who goes west!..thanks

Interesting thread-- no posts for two years and twenty-eight days, and suddenly back. Facebook unable to reach people? Maybe you should come back to Snowest. Some of us without FB miss the activity that went away when people jumped ship.

I guess i forgot to update it..tho there may be some posts missing because I'm sure I've brought it back up every season...dunno..mebbe happened with the big switch over.....and mebbe you should use facebook..just like all the other tools in yer toolbox..it is a huge and valuable tool...its what you make of it...the buy, sell, and swap pages blow snowest away..not even close...the knowledge base is still better here tho...

Coming into fall and snow is blowing around out in the Hills...If you're looking around for midwestern guys to ride with or fill a seat ..give the page a look. It's a private page so you'll have to join to view, and there are 2 security questions that have to be answered, but it's cheaper than a 12 pack of Coors to get in!
