Mexico for a vacation?

We are looking at taking a vacation to Cabo in the next month.

Anyone been to anywhere in Mexico lately? If so how was it?

I was considering going to Cabo for Xmas but decided I don't want to deal with all the BS and potential BS.

I have been to Cabo, Cancun, and Puerto Vallarta. When I go I usually spend most my time at the resort just relaxing. When I was younger late 20's I would go explore but it can be a little sketchy. In Cabo you have a lot of good eating and can charter a fishing trip easily. Also divorce beach is pretty neat.

Check out Loreto, Baja California Sur. Much quieter and cheaper than the big tourism towns. If you make there then you have to try Asadero Super Burro.
