That looks really cool! Lots of different options for using it to. Thanks for sharing

Very cool ... have a Parrot drone but haven't really used it .... was never a gamer and not a big phone user .... lilly looks like a great option.

boy this thing is taking the interent by storm. Even tho this technology has been around for awhile now. pretty cool stuff but nothing new. just new packaging and marketing.

Only problem is it'll only stay with you up to 25 mph........otherwise very cool if it could keep up with a sled, I'd find the 500 to pre-order one.

anyone else notice the 20 minute battery run time? I'm also guessing that time gets much shorter at cold temps. That alone would make it not worth the hassle in my opinion. Eric

The Lily looks interesting but its a sealed package and you get a 20 minute flight and a 2 hour charge time.

Mountainhouse the technology has been out there for quite awhile. One of my friends has been building quad copters for a couple of years now and they have been out there long before he became interested in them. You just have to buy the hardware all separately and put it together yourself. Now the general public is starting to be more aware of them.

The Lilly are not available yet the last I heard they are trying to raise capital to go into production and this wont be ready until next year maybe later. The Phantom DJI has a similar unit that they are trying to develop as well for the general public to buy and fly

The company that is developing the Lilly is the first one of many i am sure that is putting a simple package unit together that anyone can buy and fly. To build one and set all the programing up for the GPS unit the speed controllers for the engines and everything else it is quite complicated.

Here is what bunch of crazy smart people can do with these little quad copter. What you don't see is the group of programers that are off stage that wrote the code to make the quad copter to do what is doing.

The drawback right now is the flight time they with a payload they can not stay up very long because of the battery life. I think the longest one I have heard is around 20 minutes of flight time before it will fall out of the sky. the more payload the shorter time it will stay airborne
