MDS Weights or Lighter Stock Weights

Riding at 11,000-13,000, sled barely pulls 7300 RPM. Would like to see a more constant 7500rpm. Dealer said he would throw on some lighter weights for $75. Worth it? Getting mixed reviews on the MDS.

Where are you getting mixed reviews?
I wish I had a penny for every time I told someone about MDS weights.
Call Steve first. If he can’t sell you then stick with the lighter weights. Oh, do the lighter weights come with a money back guarantee? Steve's does.

Heard a few people with MDS weights blame them for various issues but I take all info on the boards with a grain of salt. Typically look for trends and most of what I hear about MDS is great.

I'm runnin CPC weights and I like them. A better solution is get some EVO tuning and then u won't need lighter weights

My understanding is that you still want new MDS weights, spring, and helix, even with the reflash. Is this not true?

The way I see it is you have 4 options.
1. Get mds weights. adjustable and gauranteed. Best option
2. Buy lighter weights from dealer.
3. Get a good scale and grind a gram of weight of of each one.
4. Buy a primary spring with a higher finishing rate.

Everything is true except for the Helix- for the mountain - stay with the stocker/ but Steves weights and his black spring will give you an all around good set-up over stock 4- Sure
