Hello.
I have MCX Nytro and want to and run the exhaust straight down the tunnel, need some pictures of this if anyone has.
Are the few pounds that go away too
Please needs some pictures of this how its done, THANKS

CR Racing has a tunnel dump kit. Sorry I don't have any pictures installed. Should be on their site.

Yes I have seen the cr deliver, but I was very interested in seeing some pictures of it mounted if anyone have some pictures please:smile:

Mark Leipheimer's MCXPRESS Tunnel Dump Muffler

This is my Proto Type Nytro Tunnel Dump Muffler that I developed and tested last season for the MC-XPRESS 19T Race Kits.
It is not as quiet as the MCX muffler but is less restrictive.
I have seen boost increases of up to 3-4 PSI after installing this muffler.
In testing I found that it created a slight lean spot in the mid range at part throttle.
I have new mapping that corrects the boost pressure increase and a new fuel map.
The OEM tunnel cooler must be removed or cut to shorter lenght.
Fits very good in a CR Tunnel.
I should have the first shippment in about 30 days but no pricing yet.
The Muffler will be coated and have a O/2 bung .

Thank you that was exactly what I was looking for! MCX has only those best solutions thank you! Adds an order for it to me!

What about ice? Was there anything more or less ice around the exhaust with this solution?

Will this exhaust work with the stock tunnel and the little stock cooler?

The CR Racing dump will work with the stock tunnel but the cooler needs to be shortened by about 3" to clear the dump.

You are correct, the XTX doesn't have the cooler.
It will fit the OEM tunnel also with out cooler .

We have not tried it on the Apex Mid Mount yet , But I'm sure it will fit .

Thats great!!
MKmotor will send you an e-mail :thumb:
I say it again , this is what i have been looking for and finaly it came:whoo:

Hello again

Are you planning to build a muffler to MTX that fits so that you dont have to cut the cooler? And fits the stock MTX Nytro tunnel??
That had been great!!:)

This might be a dumb question on my part, but how the heck could you possibly have ICE anywhere NEAR an Exhaust Header coming off the engine or near the Turbo or Tubor Exhaust?

I would think you would have nothing but HEAT to deal with ??

Yes, perhaps a stupid question from me when I have thought about, but I have not been familiar with this exhaust solution before so I just had to ask:face-icon-small-blu

I was NOT suggesting it was stupid from you.
I was worried that it was a stupid question for me to ask as if there WAS a real ice issue that I had never heard of...

I have an undertunnel on my MCX that runs out the back and it heats up the tunnel just enough to cause the snow to stick. A couple wacks and a few large chunks fall out and away you go

Correct. The heat actually makes it worse. The same problem with ice build on on the boards. It was from the heat being generated by the cooler.

My (no longer have the sled) under the tunnel exhaust with MCX keeps the stock coolers.
