MCx turbo 1200 Doo

Looking for some input on them. Like to run around 20PSI max boost.I would like to run most of the time on pump gas, how much boost can i run? What do i have to do when i add race fuel to turn boost up? How good does the fuel setup work? Do the AFRs stay right on the money? How is fit and finsh?

THank you Skydog P.S. I guess my big thing is the fuel set up how good is it???

Mcx.

Hi. It is not possible to run that high boost either with the 16T or the 19T on long runs. The heat and the back pressure will be to high. Maybe if you get the Mcx 400 or 550 you are able to run 20 psi of boost. I am having an Mcx 1200 with about 17psi of boost on 100LL fuel, but only for short runs. Just build one now with 307hp from Mcx with the 19T turbo, wiseco 9:1 pistons, Pauter rods and twin valve springs so now we are exiting to see how it runs=). Mcx have been running the 550 turbo on 28psi boost with only the head shim making 436hp on 8500rpms and if they move the rev limiter to 9000rpms they expected to go over 500=)

So on there fuel set up, do they run a 2nd fuel pump? Are they running a rising rate fuel regulator? Is boost preset? I can not run say 12PSI on pump then add race gas and turn it up to 18PSI?

THANK YOU

youll need a fuel map to compensate for turbo pressure, the t-19 kit uses stock fuel pump still , either same map with the apex secondary injectors, or new map with blue ones , This is first hand info from Erik, both scenarios are using race fuel of course Kevin
