MCX 180 Install Question

I am installing an MCX 180 kit on my 2009 Nytro and I am to the point of cutting the header. I am unsure if I am cutting all 3 tubes or am I cutting the length out of the collector box so there is only 1 cut and one welding job. The pics in the instructions are kind of confusing (it may just be me). My progress is impeded until I can figure this out. I know which makes the most sense to me but it may not be right. Any help is appreciated.

One cut one weld....Welding the flange onto the pipe for the exhaust to spool the Turbo.
BC.

Yup what I do is leave a touch extra when you cut the pipe. Bolt everything together (inc the copper donuts :) and then tack it in the sled with a couple good tacks with a mig. Remove the pipe and then you can heat the edges with a torch and tap them in so the gap is closer and then weld it up. I have done several with a mig and no issues at all. Also weld the brackets on the front a touch better as they break there and will crack. I have also found that when you do a tunnel dump way less cracking issues with the header. The muffler must hold everything to rigid causing it to crack. The muffler also causes steam which plugs off the intake all day long in deeper snow and its a major PITA!!! Our entire group is running tunnel dumps now and we havent looked back for these 2 major issues!!

What Thistledoo said and the BOV spring works great and I also put his copper donuts in, much better than the stock POS! FYI, my stock gaskets had cracks in all 3 so was just a matter of time before they let go... Sherm

I did the same as Thistledoo. Cut the header about 1" past the collector. Fit up the turbo flange and the header and tack in place. There was a large gap between the header and the turbo flange pipe. I mig welded using several passes and used a thinner .025" wire. I also have a tunnel dump and did not have any cracking issues with my header.
