We are heading to McCall at the end of January, we went two years ago and had a great time. We had a little hard time finding some good climbing areas. We have looked at the trail map that shows the different "play" areas.

Could anyone maybe show me a few of the spots via google earth or if you have any gpx tracks or waypoints of some good areas. We would appreciate it.

Sounds like you will be in town during McCall's Winter Carnival. If we can't get together for a ride we could get together for a cup of coffee and go over a map. There are some pretty good places that aren't far off the beaten path where you can do some climbing. Just let me know.

Sounds good from you guys. When it starts to get a little closer we can work out some details. Yea we will be there during their winter carnival, anyone been to it? When we went to McCall two years ago we went first of January with not much snow, and not a lot of night life since we went first part of the week.

We will have 4 days of riding, and know a couple areas, but would like to find more climbing areas and a little more open than what we could find. Last year we tried to get into Wongs bowl but dont think we ever made it. Also tried to get into the bowls by Council mountain with not much luck. It snowed the whole time so we had a hard time seeing. I gps'd it last year, if I can find the tracks I'll post it to show you guys where we rode.

There will be between 6-8 in our group. 2 turbo apexes, and the rest either rev or xp 800 skidoos.
