McCall Ride This Weekend

I live in seattle and I am headed to McCall this weekend to visit some friends. I am looking for a person or group that can show me some good riding in McCall. If I can get something set up for sunday I will tow my sled down. I have a website www.slednw.com. Would be nice to get into some hill climb areas so I can update my riding areas on the forum. The steeper the better thanks!

I have some buddies that are from Skagit County who are working in Yakima this week. They are heading to McCall this weekend. They already have their sleds over there as they were in Priest Lake last wekend. I think they are heading over Friday night and coming back Sunday afternoon. They are meeting up with a couple of guys from the McCall area I think. let me know and I can give you their #.

That would be awesome I can ride on saturday as well although I will probably catch a rash of you know what from my wife. I will send you a PM with my number.

I am here and leaving saturday but it is snowing here. love it, jager night ride tomarrow

There is a group of us heading to McCall on Sunday and we will be riding there all next week. Have ridden the area quite a bit over the past several years if anyone is interested in hooking up for some riding while we are down there.

from what my friends have told me that got here during the weekend the snow is still good up there but now that we got some snow it should be better. I remember running outside with no shoes on and then jumping in the hot tub because my feet were cold. but can't remember how much snow there is

Heading up there!

Hello fellow sledheads, Just wanted to say that can't wait to make our annual trip to the Badass areas around McCall. We do have a locals input but any suggestions would be helpful. Be coming up there next weekend.(several skilled riders) Thanks Blaze

Just came home from a week in McCall, Lots of hill climbing just past Goose lake on your way to Hazard Lakes, also going up Fisher Creek, Wongs Bowl and the Mountian Ridge between Fisher Creek and Hazard Lake Road, also deep powder around Granite Lake to the East of Fisher Creed Road.

what is the lookout called that you can see over into the seven devils wilderness area? And could someone refresh my memory on how to get over there..... thanks

Granite Mountain. go past Goose resv, up to the left to Twin Lakes, and up the "road" to the top. Follow the ridge all the way to the other end, and climb the last bowl. You'll be at the lookout. Don't get on the snowcat trails. You can cross, just don't travel up and down them.
