Not much of one for doing posts. but after reading current post about snow condition lately, it looked bleak.
Incredible December riding -Decided to go riding last Sat. 12/1 to Landmark for a break in ride. It was amazingly good we saw 1 1/2 feet at the corner to Deadwood, Artillery Dome 3 to 5', awesome back country riding got 40 miles on the new Pro.
Sun at Brundage rained all the way to 8000' had sled trouble with one of the riders sleds and went back but still alot of snow past brundage reservoir headed to Goose Lake.
Rode Wed(12/5 back to brundage), expected the worst since it was a down
pouring when we turned off HWY 55 but no rain at brundage resort or the rest of the day, went up Fischer creek road past Yurt Valley boondocked the rest of the day, had a blast.
Trails are rough until you get back a ways, the snow is the best i've seen for Dec. in the last 15 years up high, if you are not riding your missing out.
