how loud are the slp vs the mbrp and jaws? I want nice sound but not so terrible loud. also, best weight??
thanks

Have had both slp and Mbrp on past M Cat sleds. The slp was quality built and close to stock sound levels with a very "tinny" sound. The Mbrp had a good aggressive sound but a little too loud for me. With an open intake and the Mbrp can, It was almost obnoxious. Sorry i don't have any comparisons on the axys but hope this helps.

I have the jaws trail can on my axys, the slp is close to stock noise.. jaws has a deeper sound then the mbrp on my buddies pro.

I have not experience with Jaws. I have the MBRP trail can and it's not bad, really screams once the power valves open but not as loud as the GGb mountain can but louder then the SLP.

SLP is probably the quietest, after a weekend of riding it I wouldn't go back to the loud cans that I have had in the past. My Pro had the MBRP trail can, it was pretty mellow and sounded good. Jaws is loud.

My Jaws Race allowed me to add some primary weight, it gained some RPM with the can.

GGB trail can is louder then jaws trail... and so is the ggb race can louder then jaws race can.

With the Canadian dollar being so weak, if I were a USA guy, I would seriously consider buying a MBRP. With exchange they should be under $225 US and the fit and finish is excellent. 6 lbs for the trail version which is only slightly louder than stock and made out od nice shiny stainless steel and great fit..

Mbrp can lost rpm on my buddies axys like 200 rpm. Put stock back on and gain the 200 rpm back.. jaws and slp can never made a difference in rpm..

I really like my SLP. Makes a great mounting spot for my Muff Pot. It is "tinny" sounding like others have said. In the pow it sounds about stock unless you carve and get the right side up, then it is a bit louder but not obnoxious at all.

Not on mine. I tried a couple.

Don't like to hear this. I bought an MBRP trail can for my '16 RMK Assault because it was a good deal. Hopefully I won't have any RPM issues or it will be going back in short order.

Best way take the can with you go for a ride.check rpm on the mountain, swap out can ride around for a bit... check rpm..

For sure...only way to do it. I had issues with MBRP in the past and said I'd never own another one. Hopefully my cheap ways didn't bite me in the a$$.

GGB Exhaust has two sounds to choose from. We have a Mountain Can and a Trail Can.

Mountain Can:

This muffler is a super lightweight, straight through flow design with an aggressive exhaust note. System fits securely in the stock location using stock mounts and is guaranteed to provide performance levels as good as or better than stock. GGB Mountain mufflers are designed to be used in areas where increased sound levels are not an issue. These cans are loud when you open the throttle. Please use accordingly.

Trail Can:
Lightweight muffler with a trail tuned muscle sound. Neighbor friendly and in most applications will meet SAE J2567 stationary test of 88 db, 4 meters away. System fits securely in the original location using stock mounts and is guaranteed to provide performance levels as good as or better than stock. GGB Trail mufflers are specifically designed for use in populated areas and where sound levels are strictly enforced.

Weight:
Mountain Can will be 4-5 LBS
Trail Can will be 6-7 LBS

GGB Advantage:
1. Performance Guarantee

2. 100% Customer Satifaction (You buy our exhaust and for what ever reason, you do not like it, we will refund 100% of your money. No questions asked)

3. 2-Year Warranty

4. Increased throttle response

5. Tuned muscle exhaust note

6. Lightweight Design

7. No fuel mods

8. Simple install

9. Secure fit

10. Tested over 10,000'

Fuel and clutching mods are not necessary prior to installation. GGB two stroke mufflers are flow benched developed for back pressure against the stock muffler and will perform efficiently in any application where the stock muffler would be used. Both Mountain and Trail models are guaranteed to provide performance levels as good as or better than stock.

I like the GGB plenty of them running them around here.
They sound good when on the throttle I'm wondering why you do not offer a ceramic coated version?
