Could I use a MBRP can from my old 03 mountain cat 600 efi on my 07 crossfire 800 efi? I would cut old fittings off and weld new fittings to make it fit but I don't know how it would affect the sled. Do you think it would run normal and would it sound good?

Cans typically add "0" Hp to a sled, but they are tuned to run well on a specific setup. Your modified can may fit fine, but may not run optimal (dependent on your stock fuel mapping). Many cans fit the M6 to the M8, and run fine. You can try it, it may not be your best choice, but since all of the MBRP cans have little back pressure to begin with you should not have to worry about flow. I would have some concerns on getting a lean bog or a lean condition though

Thanks for the reply I'm not going to mess with it then. I think I will just buy a new one and save myself a lot of messing around with it.
