whats the max boost anyone has run through a motor with just a head shim, also whats the max with pistons and rods?

25 lbs. with a 50 hp. shot of nitrous, with trx pistons and rods, others have done more.

yes it was a 2871, ran 18-22 most of the time, but tried it at 25 acouple times. really hard to handle at 25 in the mountains.

Carrillo Rods, JE 10:1 Pistons 22-24 lbs. max. Only for short periods of time. IMO 18-20 lbs. seems to be the sweet spot with my turbo setup.
