Matrix Slash getting roasted

Diamond Dave do you by chance offer life coaching??? ? Asking for a friend...

In case you are suffering from lack of comprehension or having unrelated flashbacks like me, this is exactly what I am trying to do. If your friend prefers personal life coaching in a one on one setting, I can offer that service in exchange for Tunnel Cut-Clutched, Suspensioned Axys’ sleds and parts. I need to stock up through the new chassis run.

I’m here to learn from those much smarter than me and who don’t suffer like me from post traumatic use of psychedelics. Echoing your opinion of the Danforth along with other forum experts who knew this new chassis wasn’t any better even before riding it will hopefully save people from the misery of making poor life decisions.

I have both a ‘21 Axys Khaos and ‘22 Matryx Slash Khaos. I’m not sure what the OP is trying to say exactly but the Matryx is a noticeable difference to me. It’s not as big a difference as coming from another brand etc. but I think people are overlooking some major factors snd probably only considering side to side and initial getting on edge motions.

COOLING. My Matryx runs much cooler in every situation from startup, idle, trail, everywhere without a snow flap in situations all other sleds I’ve owned have gotten pretty warm or overheated.

Tunnel. Mostly Slash obviously. Yes, it matters. If you’re just riding around and casual sidehilling it’s not a huge difference but in deep snow it definitely helps with drag, trenching, and in more aggressive maneuvers.

Funny you say that about the new matrix running cooler. I have a 21 163 Axys Khaos. We’re out here in California we have lots of snow but the sun came out and it set up. We have about 2 to 3 inches of fresh on top. Rode with a 165 Matrix boost on Saturday. I had no scratchers down he had scratchers down. I was at 127 and he was at 160. I put the scratchers down went down to 107. Rode with 3 Matrix sleds yesterday. Came across the lake at the end of the day. We all had scratchers down. 165 3 inch Matrix Slash Boost was at 180. 155 2.75 Matrix Slash Boost was at 160. 165 Matrix pro was 150. My 21 khaos was at 127. I’m gonna leave it at that.

Unfortunately what Track Man is saying will probably come true anywhere with marginal snow. Polaris really struggles when it comes to cooling. Give me a couple of extra pounds for a sled that I can ride in not perfect conditions. Wonder how MTNTK will try to fix this?

Boost definitely runs warmer than last years 850s. In deep snow mine runs around 110-115. My last years 850 ran around 95-105. That being said I have yet to have my Boost even come close to over heating on the trail but I haven't really ridden much crappy snow this year.

My Matryx Slash runs 10+ degrees cooler than my Axys 800 did. In fair conditions it sticks around 100 degrees

Spent the day on a slash Khaos N/A. Feels like a Axys with minor improvements. My 2021 Khaos had a cut tunnel and elevate. I wouldn’t be in a rush to dump any set up axys sleds to get a matryx unless it’s time for an upgrade. There is some quality issues to fix on the matryx, typical of a first year make over sled.

Check out this bright red, Danforth. Another Buddy said he should give it back after he road it. True Story. I told him no. I explained to him he should have listened to the experts on this forum like I did. He now must suffer from his poor life decisions. Sorry can’t load video? Damn Flashbacks.

I bet my boost is cooler than yours. What about running out of gas on the trail. They get such horrible gas milage in 4' of fresh

More lag filled, Danforth documentation. The experts were right. If you stay with #TeamTCCS, you won’t have something like this happen. You can keep your eyes up higher and not be required to watch out your windshield for obstacles instead. That way you can rocket up the wall on your TCCSAxys, eyes high, and point to your buddy as you are the highliner and he is shoveling out that boat anchor.

Yours ran out too!

With each and every post, I am starting to highly doubt you are having flashbacks... Pretty sure you are taking the psychedelics before you log onto Snowest and post...

I am simply rejoicing in the fact that I somehow fought through distracting LSD flashbacks that were obviously causing PTSD and clouding my analysis of the Danforth. I was able to find my inner strength, right size my head, and listen to forum experts.

This allowed me to not make the obvious poor life decision and for that I am showing my humbleness and gratitude.

Not that TeamTCCSAxys needed any additional field based evidence, but Jeremy pointed out another real benefit to staying with TeamTCCSAxys: Fuel economy sucks on the Danforth. Running out of fuel is not safe and siphoning fuel from one of these Danforths is impossible.

Staying with TCCSAxys Turbo or NA will be much more eco-friendly. No additional weight penalty or covering of the heat exchanger by carrying extra fuel if you stray with a group of matrix’s which could increase already reported higher coolant temps. It will also allow you to effectively combat current high gas prices we sorely need as a country. In addition, you can rescue your buddies that made poor life decisions by having them siphon from your better sled. Maybe they will buy you dinner later on?
