Massive series of storms California next 10 days

Pick your SPOT California ... gonna snow a lot in the California Sierras next 10 days .... 1 to 10 January !

I think it is at least 4 storm systems next 10 days

3 feet Minimum at 6000 feet 80% chance up to possible 7 feet at 6000 feet 50% chance

LIKELIHOOD HAS BEEN INCREASING meaning confidence by forecasters this is gonna happen

Quincy CA at 3500 feet expect minimum 3 feet snow this next 10 days Max expected 7 feet then rain 2 inches 9-10 January then snow more

Caltrans is gonna have a heck of a time clearing major highways ... not even talking about secondary roads.

SOCAL just recd up to 3 feet and the mountains are jammed up by inexperienced drivers ... Unfortunately many injured and several fatalities AND roads to the sledding areas are a stand still. If I went snowmobiling today I would be driving 5 MPH for 60 miles and observe 100's of cars stuck

Looks great for CA UT especially SLC then CO and Farmington area mountains.

Not so good for ID MT West Yellowstone ND BUT there is a new storm in 7 days where upper states will get some !
