Great question !
When he did post a pic from his first pair he had made, i commented "Wow, nice product......" after that was "Yes, these are way stronger than stock Rev ovaled the wrong way extrusions". (Speaking from first hand knowledge since it was my Rev that was tested with these for 2 months) <-- only pointing that out prior to another one of you trying to discredit the info provided. As to the rest of Marcuso's claim, i dont remember any such conversations where i said "Yes, build them".
If that is a an endorsment to rip off a design if your eye's, then so be it.
As for the patent, nope never did. Already said that once, but since some of you are so quick too comment without reading, there it is again. Read it twice, or 3 times if need be. Have a look at companys like Klim, HMK, VanAmburg, Fabcraft, RacersEdge, Holz etc etc etc they dont have patents on 99% of there products, you know why ? Most (well in the past, aparantly) snowmobile people as a whole respected one companys design and didnt "Copy" it. Sure, lots of products are close, its inevitable with certain products like handle bars, rear bumpers, billet wheels etc.
Sorry if some of you feel the other way, i just think Copying someone's sh!t 110% is pathetic. Tough to dispute things when theres pic's posted to prove it isnt it, like i said before Truth hurts, its totally clear on this thread.

looking at this logically ... do you think that anybody really could get a patent for modifying a set of arctic cat extrusions so they fit a ski-doo? I'm guessing arctic-cat would eventually come out a head on that one.
Also, I purchased a set of these off Marcuso and they are a great product!
Finally, like Marcuso said, hes not getting rich off of these. I'm just happy that somebody stepped up and actually offered this product to fix the problem of bent running boards.

it still looks nothing like a cr tunnel imo just by adding that piece anyone could figure that out...... but give your self a pat on your back if that makes you feel better....

When I made a set for myself, I asked around if anyone would like a set also. I got some good feedback, and Pm'd Darko and asked if it was OK to make a bunch and sell them, I even gave him credit for his (OH Sorry, CHAD's) idea and work.
He said " right on, it is the answer to these floppy boards, I hope you sell a ton of them"
If it was a violation to you, you should have said so earlier.... like years ago.
The only thing you innovated is your CR Racing sales agenda.... getting parts and labour for free and pushing the product, then selling every spring while prolly speedowhacking the sled.
Everyone copies things... Look at CR racing. Did Digginsweatinswearin' give his ok for the beefy 8 bolt riser knock offs? (Which I told you about BTW)
And you didn't make them, Chad did. If Chad has a problem, which he never seemed pissed off (when we had drinks at cowboys nightclub during the sled show) ...He can contact me.

Why does anyone really give a chit who stole what from who? Are any of you guys in business to get rich or are you just selling some stuff to support your habit and help make our sleds better? Honestly, their are a lot of products that are good ideas but aren't exactly original inventions. Why not let everyone do what they do and not get so pissered about it. In the end, it really don't matter, we all just wanna ride.

This was a good read for sure..... I highly doubt anyone could sell enough of that one single product to pay for a patent, much less the attorney, and then a patent is only as good as the money behind it.
If sledder 1 comes up with an idea and sells the product to sledder 2 and he likes it and decides to make it himself and offer it up for sale I would think he would have the balls to okay it with sledder 1. Now, if sledder 1 actually has this product up for sale in his own store or swap meet or whatever than I would assume he has a beef with it, but if he invented the product and then had no intention of publicly offering them then I would assume sledder 2 would have the right to put them up for sale and try to make enough to fill up his truck with fuel for the next trip.
Someone can come up with a fix for some problem that is stock from the factory and the next thing you know there are 4-5 different people making the same thing with just a little twist in design to make it slightly different, there are many smart minds out there and you know what they say "smart minds think alike" so to think you might be the only one to ever have the idea of improving something is not a very good thought. If you want to protect your invention you should prepare to spend LOTS of money to do so, and still expect to see several idea's real similar.
So, Marcuso.... are you really making that much money on these things and having your name plastered all over some "inventors" magazine (mistakingly taken credit for this revolutionary new product) to justify the bickering that has taken place here????
