Don where's all the snow at?

Well just did Mammoth 30 January on a borrowed trail sled. A stock F6

Had okay base with about 2 feet on it. Most obstacles were showing off trail. Few inches of new snow on groomed trails.

Rode to Bald Mountain with mostly virgin groomed trail.

Did several Meadows on the EAST SIDE OF THE 395 with hard soft patches about 2 feet of soft snow over every meadow.

Used scrathers in the shade on the trail.

Off trail in dense trees about 3 feet of powder around K trail.

Crater flats was untracked (okay maybe one or two tracks)

Rode over 70 miles!

Possible dusting 6-7 Feb

Warming trend in the 40's 50's at 7000 feet till then.

General trend is dry. ARGH !
