Making the choice?

So I am about to take the plunge! My consideration comes down to the Timbersled RAW, Camso DTS and Motortrax. I understand the growing pains of the first year Motortrax and hope the updates fix known issues. The RAW at $3,500 is very appealing. The Camso kit has great reviews and really seams like a hit in it's first year.
Help me choose please! What would you do faced with these 3 kits!

I just pulled the trigger and snow checked a TS 120LE. it was the best deal when you get a free tss install kit and $500 off when pre ordered through the dealer I used.

I'd hang tough until Camso announces their 2018 kit. There are changes and updates coming. 2018 will be better than 2017 kit.

No, not officially. Hopefully sooner rather than later for all the kits.

I find it frustrating when companies put out their product early then put the screws to you to snow check one sight unseen by some arbitrary date other wise they gouge you in the fall for the same product. Its kind of BS in my mind, if they can make money at price x in the spring then they can make the same money in the fall. If they feel the need to pressure me to make a decision before I can see all the options say at the the sled/trade shows in the fall then they basically have no shot a getting my money.

My brain says, WOW only $3,500 for the RAW but from all the research and positive feedback I have seen on the Camso I find myself leaning that direction. For $4,800 it's pretty impressive. Not sure I could justify spending a couple grand more just to get the Aro LE with free TSS mount! Is TSS that good? My dealer will hook me up with great pricing on the DTS as well.

Are the fit kits included in those prices? If both kits were 3500 I would go Camso all the way. 1800 bucks is 1800 bucks though.

Greg,
The timbersled dealer told me The raw is basically a 2014 kit, same shocks and set up. The new ARO looks pretty interesting, but more money. It will be interesting to see if Camso will reduce some weight for 2018.

Don't be suckered like I did with the mototrax. Check back with them in 2019 too see if they have a sorted kit. I doubt they will be in business. They treat their customers like idiots, lie, and leave you on the snow with broken parts and promises of a "fix". Got an email today from them and I had really hoped it would address the issues of the rubber-seal-that's-not-a-seal, the track wanting to jump off rails, the rear tensioner gas springs that are a joke. But no, all they wanted to offer was another ****ty bushing that will wear out in one ride and some pop rivets. And a spring that will somehow prevent the slider from mutilating the bushing. Oh and the best part, they want me to pay for shipping! LOL.

I'd go for the TS raw if I could turn back time.

Sounds about right Mark. Who did you get your Timbersled through?

i have a 14 kit.with the new raw u get a 2.5 track and new spindle mount plus new ski.i paid 4800.00 for a snow ck . it does everything well.if u are not hucking every thing im sure the raw would work well for you.

I'm curious how Trump's import tax will affect TS/Polaris prices come fall. They are made of primarily Chinese components at this point from what I understand. Sorry but I'm not drinking the kool-aid. It will be a cmx or a yeti for me. Sure wish the Cmx crew had demos further west. We rode 2' of fresh today. No end in sight.

I have a Yeti. I love it. Best ski in the business. Great track, great skid, best drive system, lightest weight, etc. What's not to love. OK, they are pricey but they are worth it. Oh yeah, they are, by far and away, the coolest looking too. Who do you want to take to the dance? The ugly fat one or the dream date?

Yep, my yeti gives me better wood than cialas and faster too. Did break my tunnel today though. My bad, too much fun in the sun, and trees

I think it's $1000 and yeti will give you a new tunnel.

No its not that much. Yeti makes an amazing product and stands behind it better than any performance motorsports company I have ever dealt with...., and I have raced bikes and ridden with core groups of slednecks for the majority of my life. The damage I did was 100% my fault, and basically cosmetic. I will ride it and probably do more damage, cause that's what I do. God bless, and I'm an atheist! :face-icon-small-win

And, I seriously doubt that a single component of my yeti was hecho en china. Sorry Polaris, had to through that in the mix. :rose:

Well I get it guys. I know where the Yeti stands in the pecking order. However budget doesn't allow it so my considerations were as I stated in my first post.
