Making the 12xp into a 13 XM

I was planning on ordering the T-Motion kit and flex track for my 2012 after riding the Demo model last season. I was also considering ordering the bar controls as they suck on the 12. I made a last minute decision to upgrade my 12 to the 13 considering the marginal price difference after the upgrades and after the first ride on the 13 last weekend in 4-5 feet of blow over the head pow, I do not regret my decision one bit.

I have to say that the 2013 XM is the best "out of the box" sled I have ever ridden. All I did was put on a can, skid plate and scratchers and it is a dream machine for handling. My 12 was a 163X and my 13 is a 163X and the difference is incredible.

I got on 2009 XP last weekend while I let my buddy ride my 13 and couldn't even ride it. :face-icon-small-win

Stoked!!! Can't wait to shred on the 13 154X!!

2011 -XM conversion

My 2011 e-tech-XM is almost finished.
T-motion kit, flex track, spindles & new ski(had powder pros last year but am going to try the new DS2 before I switch. The original DS ski sucks.
new 2013 seat
C3 post forward kit w/ straight steering post
RSI 5" rise bars,3" risers, convert controls to freeride setup
snow flap & tailight setup 2013
ordered stirrups from XM and will retrofit when they arrive and cut away plastic. Had them side by side may be an inch or 2 of running board outer edge that will have to be added, however the stirrup rivets into smae position
many hours of shop time
Waiting for the snow............to test
sled does tip up to side much easier as compered to stock
have invested less than 2500.00 not counting my shop time

I stand corrected

OK, we rode our 2011 XP ETEC 154 with T motion, yesterday in deep snow high mountain riding. This mod is a HUGE improvement, and you will like how it handles over your stock XP chassis, BUT, I must acknowledge that the actual XM sleds (identical 154's were with us) is HEAD and SHOULDERS above an XP chassis with the added T-motion pieces, I had hoped it was an equal handling sled, but it is not, the actual XM is INSANE.

Looks like Jo will be shopping today, anyone interested in a sweet 2011 800 ETEC 154 with BOSS seat, T-motion & shortened handle bars? $8200.

Nevermind, the 2011 is gone, contact Rexburg Motor Sports @ 208-356-4000 and ask for Ken Burt if you are interested in the 2011 ETEC. Great sled and comes with original warranty till November 2013.
