Maico 685

Was messing around online and came across a Maico 685cc 2 stroke dirt bike. Looks like a German rig. Wonder how this baby would translate into a snow bike.

That would be very interesting. I did a search and there does not seem to be any North American Dealers.

They have them discounted in Europe at the moment for 7978 Euro.

Looks like a bitch to kick over. Another interesting fact is you can order the motor on it's own from Germany. Hmmmmm...... KTM SXF frame and forks with that motor would be the ticket!

There are a few around. Most sales were in Europe and Africa. ATK tried to bring them over to the us a sell them a few years ago, but sold very few. Search around on the internet and you can find one or two for sale here and there. They were not very reliable. You can still buy the motor from zabel in Germany.
