Madres Lodging

So a buddy and I are headed west on Jan 8th. We have rode the Snowies a lot. The snow really isn't that great yet so considering the Madres. Sounds like they are under a storm watch. I have stayed at Ten Mile outside of Saratoga but never any closer than that to the Madres. Where is a good place to stay? Is there someplace to ride from the door? Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

My group goes to thst area a few times a year. I don't think there is any places on battle but there are places in encampment or just outside of town. We always stay at river ridge cabins. Bob merrill is owner and great people. Cabins are nice with full kitchens and amenities. Cheap to bring your own food. There are 2 or 3 places like this in riverside/encampment but the names slip my mind. I think the website is wyriverridge.com. side note there is a gas station in encampment that also sells permits

I too have stayed at ten mile and the place but now stay at bob's so we can ride both ranges. About 35 minutes to lot in snowies and 15 minutes to lot in sierra's from there
