If you don't have a set of the Ice Age rails for that skid, I would get them. I replaced my stock rails that I'd used the 'fit kit' on last year, and the mount points on the Ice Age rails are slightly different.
I couldn't ever get this skid set up the way I liked it last year, but after redoing the rails on it this year it seems to be an improvement. Obviously I haven't had it in any deep powder yet, but the deep powder I never have had an issue with this skid, its only been in the 12" or less type conditions it seems to run way too much ski pressure.
But ... putting the 1/2" shim on the top part of the slide reduces the ski pressure, and then I let my limiter straps out all the way too was the best I got it last year for boondocking ....
Gonna have to wait till it snows a little to tell ya how well it works with the slightly different mount points on the ice age rails .... but, even with all this said, I think the skid is a big improvement over stock, but it still just doesn't feel to me like it transfers weight the way you want it to for boondocking.....
but it does keep the nose down on a turbo sled on the hills.
