M8 BD RG Won't Run Above 10 PSI

I was out West two weekends ago. The first two days of the trip I could run any boost I wanted. One the third day, the sled would only run 10 PSI which is the minimum allowed by my acuator. I turn my boost up using the black boost adjuster with the silver knob you turn to increase or decrease boost. I was running 50/50 race gas and pump mix the first two days. The third I was running ~95% race gas. I was hoping to raise the boost that day and see what she could do and was sadly disappointed. Why would it stop building anymore more the minimum boost?

Thanks,

Mike

have you ruled out a boost leak? Stuck wastegate? Just thinking outloud. Im Pretty new too this turbo game.

Lots of possibilities, but better make sure you're secondary injectors are coming on. You could be on the edge of a burn down if your box isn't set up right. Did you upgrade to the RG kit or buy it as a race gas kit?

Ran into the same problem with my CPC and found a split in the supplied hose from Attitude. Just got lucky didnt burn down.

I bought the race gas kit. I was thinking a boost leak but if there was a leak why would it build even the 10 PSI? Wouldn't it just not build boost? I'll have to give Boondocker a call and then check all my lines for cracks or being loose. I installed the kit myself so maybe something loosened up on me.

Thanks for your replies,

Mike

Certainly look at all your hoses like mentioned above. I would pay close attention to/for any pipe cracks or y pipe gasket. Leaks in these areas cost huge in performance. Any time exhaust leaks, it takes away from the turbo.

yeah, check exhaust leaks/donughts.. I know some folks who were running 7-8#, then put new donuts in took it back out, they were hitting 12+ then with no adjustments to the controller or anything... it doesnt take much to keep the boost way down on any turbo setup, exhaust leaks are just as bad as intake leaks.

I also had a check engine light flashing. 1 flash followed by 7 flashes. I think it has something to do with the TSS. Would that cause this issue? I had this code the whole weekend though.
