M8 2011 Primary clutch still alive!

Hi! Am i alone who still run the original primary on my 2011?
Do i have to be scared and buy a new one now? Heard so many bad stuff about exploding damages and bent shaft so i'm a little bit worried.
I've checked the spider for cracks but found nothing. The only thing i've put in was the MDS weights since the first winter. So what should i do guys?:face-icon-small-sho

Buy a new one. My 2010 with 1,200 miles just had the spider break. Very well maintained too.

Well i have 2300 miles on mine now! :face-icon-small-con
I saw that the clutch is replaced with the earlier M' model but i'm not really impressed with Cat clutch quality. Just got a brand new 2.6 pc and really like my sled so i think i will keep it a couple more years.
Maybe the new clutch with the 911 Thunder cover will be nice...

Thank´s!

This is what mine looked like. I'm going to finish the year on a cat clutch and get the Fastrax P85 conversion over the summer.

Mine blew on a deep powder day. Pfffft

Can't post pics but the spider cracked in three spots radiating out from the shaft.

I considered that but the Pol clutch is much lighter and I like the shift characteristics of the 10 series weights. The STM would be a lot cheaper though. I better do some thinking.

I must be lucky I have 3200 miles on mine now with supreme adjustable weights.I kind of think ridding might have something to do with it,I live in Michigan so I'm not constantly running high rpms .just my opinion

Thinking back on the day mine broke I could hear a different sound from the clutch when idling. Didn't notice any more or less dust.

I got about 500 miles on mine this season. Roller just went out.

Riding buddy of mine has a 2010 M8, and 14 proclimb, I believe he has went through 4 clutches this season. One the primary broke in half when it went, and bent his crank...

AC clutches are POS, I would pull the cover off and inspect the rollers every few rides, make sure there not sticking...

Looks like I am getting a new Cat clutch under my extended warranty but I ordered the P85 conversion this morning. I will run the Cat clutch until the P85 is delivered and then sell the like new clutch to you guys!!!!!

I am excited to see how it works!
