Anyone got one? building one? Where does discussion about it belong? In here with the 1100T? Proclimb section? Or, in the yammi Viper section?

I posed that question a couple months ago and got no answers. I posted as I was building my Evo m7000 for the Edmonton sled show. I proposed the section was just changed to 4 stroke like Yami's, except they also have a boosted section. But I would bet there wouldn't be a lot of action in a non boosted section here so it kinda goes without saying it would be pretty much all boosted 4s.

There is a lot you can glean from the Yami section but I doubt they want us posting Cat stuff in there. My impression is they think the sleds are drastically different. You'd think they would want the opinions of people that have ridden that chassis for 3 winters :noidea:

I think you guys should jump right in over in the yammi section. It would be better discussion to have the M7000 and the Viper discussed together..

You know the Yammi guys aren't coming over to the AC section. LOL

They are out there. However like most 7000 owners I find myself reading in the Yamaha section as there is usually a fair amount of discussion/info over there.

Everything in the yamaha boosted section is not about the viper either. So it is hard to tell.

This is a weird situation. The same sled but two brands and noone wants to talk about how they are the same. LOL

They are though other than the clutching I think. I doubt cat would build a machine that is inferior to the same one that they are building and puttng someone elses name on.

I've been following and commenting a over in the yammi section. I don't see any cat guys over there, seems people like to hang with their own kind. This is a weird situation. Kind of need a section for M7000 normal asp and one for boosted, probably "cat boosted for stroke" section. I think once guys start seeing what a great sled this is with boost they will become quite popular.

I find myself jumping between 1100t,proclimb, viper, viper mountain sections/forums. Picking small things along the way. I'm have the only m7000 among several vipers among my friends I normally ride with. Was on the list for a viper, but decided it could be fun to stand out a little.
Turbo is coming, tomorrow, or after the weekend. Need to figure out clutching now...

Be ready to hear how yamaha re-engineered everything better than arctic cat. LOL:face-icon-small-hap

I post in the Yami section quite a lot actually, both sections of it. But being so familiar with the chassis with lots of custom 1100 builds I'm comfortable with it. I also rode a tApex for 4 years so maybe there is a little blue blood left lol.

There was a thread on here about our Evo M7000 build we had at the Edmonton sled show in October. I just finished posting a picture of the WRP seat in the Yami section as no one has seen it on a sled yet......but I posted pics almost 2 months ago over here. Definitely shows they don't look over here lol.

Hey Yami guys, we've had, modified, and rode this chassis for more than 3 years. Feel free to browse and ask questions. I just answer the questions I can as they are asked over there.

Posted a pic of my m7000 in a viper group on Facebook, Over 100 views and only 9 likes. Got a feeling they didn't appreciate it that much

That's kind of funny, they needed a chassis more than we needed a motor lol. You would be suprised how many people don't realize that is the chassis from 2012 on a Cat. You'd have to be living under a rock to not know anything about where the chassis came from.
