M7 with Speedwerx 800 clutching help

I've got a speedwerx 800 kit in my M7 I usually ride 2000-8000 feet. I'm certain my clutching is off because it'll turn to almost 8800rpm while climbing. Speedwerx told me I want to be more in the neighborhood of 7900rpm with this motor. What do I need to do? Heavier weights? I'm pretty sure the clutch is all stock 2005 M7 parts.

If its all still stock. I would replace the primary spring with the stock yellow white or with whats in there now. With the huge altitude change you will have to be somewhere in the middle with the weights. I would recommend cutler adjustables 65-75 You will probably need 70+ to bring your rpm down. On the secondary I would recommend a BMP torsional kit with there black spring on third from tightest setting.

^^ Agree on the primary. On my bigbore 8 I'm shooting for 70g at 6-9k, you may be in the 72-73g weights with either stock yellow/white spring or orange spring. Orange spring is 5lbs heavier finish rate than the yellow/white. Note: Yellow/white is 120-285, Orange spring is like 120-290. Orange/white spring is 140-290.

Need to know what's in there right now too, that will help.

On my 800 kit I ran 76g with slp blue/yellow primary and a 40/36 helix w/ bmp torsional kit with orange (like cat green) spring. 6-9K

I should add that my kit was NOT a speedwerx kit and with the torsional secondary kit you can usually run more weight in the primary.
