M7 turbo enging failure pto side

I found a crack about 1 inch long on the reed boot. I hope this was it. I'll be putting it back toghther this weekend. Does anyone know how to test the secondaries on a pure logic box? Thanks

add pressure to the boost line comming from the box at idle it should start to flood the motor at 5 LBs

am i the only one that noticed he is running 14??

12 is safe, anything above 13 is not, its way too lean

I would never run it at 14. i was tuning it at the lake for the first time. i was saying it hit 14, then i adjusted. that couldn't have caused all that damage.
most the time my a/f was in the 10.

This is the solution for the M7T electrical

Plenty of power to run anything you want. Seriously though I run a BIG battery a capacitor a Hobbs switch with a diode and have more power than I'll ever need (just like a turbo) email me at jonsgolfandski@aol and I'll send you my pics.

heres a pic of the piston damage, seems extensive. i would only assume if my box numbers were to low both would be damaged. Another thing i noticed is the fuel system is kinda weird. the sled hiccups at idle. i think cuz the fuel pressure dosent stay high enough at idle. and shouldn't my pressure stay there after a couple pulls or after shutting it down. i get nothing, the needle barley jumps.

To be honest...I don't see detonation here. A severly detonated piston looks like the surface is clean, free of carbon, and has a grit blasted appearance. That piston looks lean. If it was a systemic problem both sides would look similar or close enough to sense impending doom. Keep in mind the AF is an average of the two cylinders. If one cylinder has an air leak the AF would average with the good cylinder and not look so bad. EGT's, when pieces are flying out the exhaust can be misleading two. Boundary layers that normally protect the head or the piston easily breaks down in a failing motor. Heat then goes into the piston or out the head and this sometimes causes EGT's to read lower. I would not throw money at the problem yet. Take it step by step to find out what is not healthy. BD and Stangers set ups work without exotic "fixes"
