M7 Torque Stop

Probs a dumb question but should the torque stop be against the motor? or what is the gap measurement? THX

M7

I looked in my service manual and could not find it but mine is just touching if it is to tight it will make the engine shake in the mounts.

There should a slight gap between the torque bumper and the engine. When under accelleration the engine will come back and hit the bumper. If you have it too tight against the bumper you run the risk of it breaking.

Hope this helps if there is anything else I can help you with let me know.
