M7 mods. What to do? What not to do?

mods

I have done almost all of the mods that are in the above posts stay away from the twins they are a pain to tune for what you gain on the top it is not worth the trouble.I would say 10.4 clucth helps alot i also like bdx light wieght trackshaft and brake rotor it makes the sled alot snapper on the buttom. What elevation do you ride at??? the y-pipe will hurt your sled above 5k the speedwerx single works the best on the m-7.If you have 500$ to spend to would look in the swap meet for deals i think a head would be the best mod for now and should be able to find one at a good price if you ride at elevation it will get your comp up where you ride so you will have alot more power on the hill.If you ride in deep powder most of the time the at-20 is a awsome track i like it alot better when it is straighted out we dont know if your sled has the a-20 or not so if it does pm me and i will tell you how to do it. pm me if you have any ??? thanx Tator

Ok, I ride from about 3200-4500 elevation. I dont have the attack 20 ive got the chalanger. Is there any full exhaust kits (y-pipe,pipe,can) that run good with a head? Thanks for all the help

i am also 15 and have an m7. First, get a pipe can and y pipe, any or all of those 3, reeds, skis, and a timbersled intake. Then go. Twin pipes are good if your not gonna be above about 6000 feet but above that they have to be set up perfect and lots of tune time or they suck.

i am also 15 with an 05 m7 i have a bdx intake,exess seat,side vents,dd clutch pl box, pl fuel pressure regulator,koso egt,slp twins,attak 20

i dont get why you are bashing the a20 turn it into hillclimb mode and rip and also my slp twins i did some clutching and fuel work and letter buck never touched it after that and i am keeping up with all the 800's and some 1000's i love my sled oh and dont forget the bent a-arms:D

I did bikeman pipe, can, head, and porting to my 05 m7 with the timing key and fuel regulator and it rips. added the 10.4 secondary and that help give it some torque. and i would recommend timbersled air intake. take that plastic 6 pounds off.
