m5-m1000 are all able to fit each other. Same hood.

Basically the same hood. Gauge cutouts are probably different. Cat changed gauge size in the later years of the M.

Any decal or color difference will net you a different part number.

2005-2007 have the big cutout for the speedo and the 2008-2011 have the small hole. There are some nose vent differences as well. You can use either hood for any M series sled. What we have done is gotten a gauge lifter and had the bottom for the hood and the top for the guage. For example if it is a 2005 hood going on a 2011 model you get the bottom of the lifter for the 2005 and the top for the 2011 gauge. Most lifter manufacturers will accommodate you on this.

I thought big cut out was 05-08? Just asking cause i guy posted on here that his sled was an 08 and it had the big gauge, also CF hoods are the same also.
