What has everyone seen as far as how these sleds compare? I have found the 1200 to be better all around for boondocking, tree riding, and on hills where a short burst of speed is needed to get up it. Seems like weight would be close after you bolt the turbo on the m8 and put a handful of lightweight parts on the 1200 with the cash you would save not doing the turbo?

has anyone else seen these sleds compare im looking for some info from real world people. The salesmen from both kits both argue that theres is best and I know most say the t8 will kill it but I have seen different. Was it because the m8t wasnt tuned right and the 12 was spot on? anything would be great thanks

What riding style do you like? That should answer your question 1200 boondocker, M8T climber.

I have a very well tuned 1200 with lots of lightweight mods. I have run against many pump 8's and it is close. the 1200 will take them off the line 90% of the time. It really depends on your altitude that you ride as most of my riding is done from 3k to 7k. I am sure if I was up at 10k + and the pump gas sled was running 9 pounds of boost it might be another story. My 1200 is fun as hell in the trees and boondocking and definetly bangin on hills and pullin chutes.... I have never had a problem with it. With that said my new 2010M8RG is going out this weekend and I will let you know how it compares to the 1200:D:D:D

I ride a D&D 1200. I have all the BDX pro lite parts on it all the way to the ti bolts and oil delete and etc. I love my slead and swear by it. I usually ride 7-10k and mostly do boondocking. D&D has several stages for the bore, I did something a little different and had Dale give me a " stage 2.5 " It's between the stage 2 and stage 3. I didn't want to run 100% race, but didn't mine blending some. I basically run 50/50 on the fuels and love my slead. I ride with 8t and 1000ts. I have no problem keeping or passing them. IMO, go with the 1200 and lighten it up. Fun sled for sure and in the future, you can add the turbo on top to be king of the hill.

Ok arms are sore.......the 1200 does not compare to the new RG TM8. Cantget one of these off my face:D:D:D:D:D:D. I will always love my 1200 and will keep it with me but it will become the backup. There is no doubt that a T1200 is king but you will need a backup sled.
