Who has the best ecu reflash to get HP up and what can is best. And is the lightweight battery worth a dang? Just got this sled and is bone stock

Big plus 1 on Evolution Motorsports. The Big Chute turbo is the way to go if you can spring for a little more money and want an honest 240hp with all the reliability, engine protection and condition compensation of you stock sled. Best $2000 you can spend on your Cat 1100T. They also have mufflers and complete exhaust systems that are works of art. I use Shorai batteries and they work great but Speedcell is my choice for 2012.

TD muffler here, fit great and sounds throaty but not obnoxious!

Haha, I don't have a td muffler but mine uses the same resonator that his does. I was surprised to find that it has quite a different tone than I was expecting and alot different tone from the sport bike muffler I had this last year. I would likely buy a td muffler as I think the resonator that he has chosen has a great tone to give a more sport tone for the lawnmower that the stock one is.

The Evolution Powersports flash is the only one out there designed, tested and proven in the mountains through hundreds of miles riding at elevation. If you want real power, than the Big Chute turbo is the way to go, unless you want stupid power, than the super chute rules.

Dang it I want the big chute. . .

Said it before and I will say it again, the level of skill and sheer depth of knowledge of the Evolution Powersports guys is just so far above anything offered in the snowmobile world. I don't sell their stuff or even know them personally but these guys literally have PHD's in tuning. They build 1600HP street engines for sports cars that cost huge money. 10 times what a new snowmobile costs just in engines. There is not enough money in snowmobiles to allow someone to test and research to the level these guys have. Just the science they put into their turbines blows away anything you can get elsewhere. Then bring that to a sport they love like snowmobiles and we all get the benefits. I would think if a guy could afford a new or 1 year old 1100T he could get $2000 together for the Big Chute kit which will give you an honest 240HP on pump gas but run all the engine protection and compensation systems the stock sled has. If you can swing it that is what I would strongly recommend. This is as close to a factory stock 240HP sled as we are going to see. If AC had their act together the stock sled would come just like this. If you can't or don't want to spend 2K their reflash is still a huge jump up from stock. 35 honest horsepower, cleaner crisper throttle response, no "holes" in the factory tune from either ignition or fueling etc...

Dealers will push what they sell it's normal. Check out what the trail riders use on Hardcoresledder. Which ECU has the most safety and features, which makes the most HP and the safest HP, you will get your answer through research. Who has the best track record for 2 year in a row.
The altitude compensation is working well according to our dealers and customers at high altitude and will be perfected as soon as there is snow up there.

A new stage 5 only available from TD will be unveiled soon. Both for the trail and Mountain riders. Big power gains vs any reflash currently available even better than our 4 stage.

Our 4 stage on pump fuel at low altitude. I have videos up to 4000 feet altitude with exactly the same result. Higher altitude loses power naturally. But with our stage 5 it will challenge turbo upgrades without a turbo upgrade. Stage 5 + turbo upgrade will be something else.

Our TurboForce muffler is perfect for mountain riders. Light, tig welded and high quality craftmanship.

This year available in 3" which makes a little more power than the 2.5" version

that's a nice combo for sure,Tig welded....impressive stuff!!keep up with the good work guys, i am sure you will do great in the mountains also.

Hopefully everything goes well with your testing this winter. If it's one thing I know about mountain riders is it's hard to gain their trust, and the only way to do that is thru hands on testing with riding where they ride. As you know credibility and success in one area doesn't necessarily translate to acceptance in other segments. Unfortunately that leap of faith has been tarnished over the years by previous manufacturers unfulfilled promises of performance. Most of the mountain segment guys get 2-4 trips a year and they have to plan time off that works for other guys in their riding group. it's not going out for a buzz Sunday afternoon, it's a pretty well planned 3-5 days. Guys are not willing to put trips, or their riding buddies fun, at risk with untested products of any kind (not saying this is the case with yours Ben of course) when most don't get to ride as much as they would like. Just trying to explain the mentality of the Western rider, they are a sceptical bunch lol.

Your stuff looks good and I hope to see you guys out West sometime. We can swap some war stories and share some cocktails.

Thanks !

Reliability on the trail is just as important, as the flatland guys also like to abuse their machine from guys riding 130MPH + on the trail on railroad beds for miles at a time to guys racing every weekend at 30 psi of boost and trail riding all week and putting on 10 000 miles + in their season.
We are proven make no doubt about it. However it is likely we can perfect the tunes to make more power at high altitude.

We have a big turbo kit coming as well that will be based off a brand new turbo, not a modified stock turbo. This should provide more power than any turbo upgrade as well as keep the turbo compressor wheel size to shaft ratio reasonable.

Large compressors with small turbo shaft aren't usually as reliable as Large turbos with decent size turbine shafts simply because of their inability to absorb excessive trust loads in the long run.

It will be fun to compare our Big turbo kit with what is out there. My experience with TD Big turbo Kits in the past this since 2010 will prove that Big Turbo upgrades on 1100 engines are in a league of their own in flatland and will be even more evident at higher altitude as the stock turbo runs out of steam. This year new turbos are available that are perfectly suited to our motors. Finally we will have something with no compromise in spool but capable of over 430HP at lower altitude.

Great! I would love to compare the Evo Super Chute kit which is a totally different turbo than the Evo Big Chute kit, which is a re-cartridge. These kits range from 250 -350hp at elevation. This will be the platform for my demo build this year.

What's the rrue diferance between Bikeman powder lite can, turbo force, and SpeedWerx can And anyone like the Boondocker HiJacker 2.0 for mountain riding or is the turbo dinamics best. Just wanting to save my warranty for a couple yrs

Technically:
Powder lite: Very light muffler/good power increase/small diameter/great durability/powder coated steel

TurboForce: Light muffler/great power/Large diameter pipe 2.5"/great durability/stainless

Can't speak for the speedwerx I don't sell it.

so like diesels bigger is better for exhausts.. im looking for maximum HP gain without goin all out straight pipe need something i can do family rides with but still get power out of... pretty much decided on TD tuning or maybe evolution, gonna do a bigger turbo eventually, so is the TD muffler 2.5" better for power than 2.5" stainless barker from D&D, there same price but whats best hp with upgrades, all dealer sales pitch aside whats better HP wise without being straight pipe load as i hve been running into more and more tree huggers trying to ban us from areas
