m1100t suspension set up.

so i got myself a 2012 m1100t and took it for the first rip. i am very happy with it. other than it feels like my skis are glued to the ground. Don't get me wrong i don t need to be standing it up on the rear bumper but some ski lift woud be nice. i am wondering what you guys have yours set up like.

Thanks, Tyson

Easy fix bro. Call Jim at Evolution Powersports and ask for 110 more horsepower. Code named SUPER CHUTE 290! Skis will never touch the snow again.

Another thing that really helps is the 2.6 track. When we have had the 1100t's out the last couple weeks, the 13's feel stronger to most who ride them over the 12'. The 13's seem to carry the skiis better than the 12's, IMO it's the track. You could also mount the skid in the 13' position.

So do you notice an improvement between the 2.25 and the 2.6?

I loosened the limiter strap all the way increased front shock spring pressure run about 120 in rear suspension shock changed to 13 position holes. Also run about 90# in front shocks to help in side hilling and Boondocking. :face-icon-small-hap

Like said above, let out your limiter strap and increase front shock spring pressure or you can change the mounting position of your skid.

I rode my 2012 last year with 10 inch simmons skis in the stock skid holes. Major arm killer and not much fun to steer. I did the 2013 skid drop and didnt touch no other settings. I couldnt beleive that so little change made such a big improvement in steering effort. Its not hard to do at all and way worth it.

The rear skid mount hole on 2012's is already there for the drop. In the front you have to drill a hole c to c 3/4 inch lower with same front to back position. (straight down). There is a rivet inside that has to be ground flush to be able to get skid mount lined up with new hole.

If you do this change on a 2012 do you have to run an anti-stab kit as well or will you be ok.
