m1100t engine dies

Was out riding on what little snow we have today and got playing with slow engagement. On a real feather lite throttle app bringing rpm up to 3000 i can get engine to die. Also noticed it on a slow decel. Onle got 10 mi on unit. Was thinking on unplugging tss. Is this the cure or what else could it be? Oh ya my sons 09 m1000 with a speedwerx y stays side by side with me, at least up to 70mph when we backed off. 2200ft. Not broke in yet?

It is still only 170 or so HP. Where it will shine is up high 8000+

Got it fixed. Disconnected throttle safety switch plug inside of throttle assembly. Believe that on my sled anyway throttle pull is so lite that it cant pull the switch closed under light pressure on the flipper.

hm you sure your dealer didnt have the throttle cables adjusted properly?

i would hate for the throttle to stick and have that 170 hp unleashed on a tree.

10 miles on your sled and your racing already. That's one way to "break" it in.

Dont think a 100 yard pull will hurt much. If they are that tender we will have lots of grief down the road. I know its not the magic break in we all desire but come on you know we all do it. All my other sleds have been fine and ive done this before.

I have 200 on mine now i was easy for the first 50 but after that just been riding it like any other sled runs great no problems. had her out today in 20" of fresh and handles awesome in the tight technical stuff was a work out but with the right rider its do able probably not as fun as on my M8 but doable
