M1000???

If you get an 07 m1000 .....get rid of the 4 post and get a 3post clutch for it. It is just a disaster waiting to happen. You can sell the 4 post to a turbo guy that will take the time to have it balanced properly.

I think it is funny how everyone on here says you have to be a big guy to ride the 1000. I weigh 160 flat and I think the 1000 is as easy to throw around as anything else. Plus the smaller you are, the better your power-to-weight! I think alot of the problems associated with the 1000 are rider caused: If you ride it with the mindset that you are riding a MACHINE and that it can't be operated certain ways all the time and you will be fine. These are awesome sleds!

If you get an 07 or 08 M1000, be prepared to give up your reverse at some point. It will probably fail. But then again, I didnt buy my 07 to go backwards.
Torque is what they are all about. It wont pull your arms off. Power is very linear. In a drag race a firecat will waste a 1000. If you want to pull some big hills, then the M1000 is your sled. They also left the most power on the table. A simple Y-pipe, pipe and can combo will give you better gains than any other sled out there. Believe it or not, I get just as much fuel economy in the average day than my f7 153".
You cant go wrong with any M-sled.
