m1000 foam under hood

Is it ok to take out foam under the hood or not on a m1000? was thinking reflective tape in it's place. Just didnt want to hurt stickers or paint on hood.

You don't have to tape the whole thing, but be liberal with the stuff, it won't hurt.

Just heat tape your wiring. Gut the hood completely and put an aftermarket intake in.........trust me its worth it

I left the foam that has heat tape attatched to it and removed all other foam. (cut around it with an exacto knife)
The foam with heat tape I left does not weigh much, and that way I didn't have to tape anything.
I have no melting issues.
