i have a m10 set up for a 141. would i be money ahead to get 162 rails for it or run my stock skid. my sled is a 2012 163 pro with a boondocker rg set up to run 11 to 12 psi at 9-10,500'

thanks. i just have the m10 sitting around and didnt know if my stock skid was a better option.

Not too many m10's being used on pro's, if any at all. I'd stay stay with holtz derived stock skid before switching to an m10 on a pro chassis.

Give Curt at Fastrax a shout. He can give the straight pros & cons about what to expect.

After holding an M10 and the stock skid in my hands, I would say stock. The M10 will add way more weight than it's worth. You CAN with a little work make the stock skid much improved for climbing and the M10 won't boondock as well as the stock skid in my opinion.

Already talked to Curt at Ftx about this. Like the M10 myself and it was the original coupled suspension.

The M10 does two things real good; gets up on the snow and keeps you climbing up. So if you have the combo of track and power to lift the nose (with a little body english in there) you can have great funwith the M10. I never found it lacking on my triple 1000 with a 159".

Curt will tell you its the best at what it does, but it wont boondock and play like the newer ones. Me, I still kind of wonder... Have the suspension and the pro, might try it just to have a summer project. Not gonna the sell the M10 unless I see a good offer, and they are far between these days.
