I have a 07 M1000 and want to put taller risers on it. What is the tallest i can go without extending any cables?

I don't have one but I've been told 4 or 5"
On my 06 M7 I had to pull the aluminum shield off and clip some zip ties. I fit a 3.5" pretty easily after that.

3.5 or 4 will fit fine with some clipping of zip ties anything taller than that will start to bind

5" is max. You'll have to reroute the brake line around the fuel line, reroute the thottle cable, and reroute the wirings. I have a ROX 3"-5" adjustable on my 2008 M8 and the 2007 is the same.
