M series idler wheels

I am curious if a set of 8" billet idler wheels on the axle that were on an 07 summit will work on my 06 m7. will the axle with wheels bolt right in?? and if the axles are the same will i need a special block or something to center the wheels.. right now the sled has the 2 stock wheels that come on the outside of the skid placed in the middle of the skid on an axle. also does this affect the size of track i need to have on there?? its a 153 so can i just loosen it up if i put bigger wheels on ?? not sure how that all works... any help i appreciate.

Im not sure about the Summit wheels fitting, the size might be ok, but the axel bushings and size might be different.... You will need to get a set of calipers and check

For the M you just need a 2 wheel axle which you can get for like $20.00 from Black Diamond Xtreme, the 2 stock outer wheels, and ur good to go. You of course will adjust your track tension after the install, but that's about it, nothing special to it.

if the 8" wheels have the same size hole on the inside of the bearings they should work on the cat axle. if not you should be able to just swap in the right bearings to make them fit. i bought a set of 8" billets off ebay and they were the same outside diameter with the same bearing as my stock cat wheels on my 06 m7 so they just swapped right over with no special axle.

Be really careful, I have wasted more money on things like this.

I'd call MMP(mountain machines performance), they sell all lines of wheels, BDX only supports Arctic, so may not get the whole picture/story.

Mountain Machines is the ticket, they don't hard sell and will tell you what you need to get it done.
