M-series hood

I have an 06 M7 that has a cracked hood. I was wondering do I go with a new stock hood or aftermarket? If so which one?? Just needing some advice on this, Thank you

I am running a Diamond S which works very well, definiely helps keep your clutch cooler, very strong, I have rolled it many times no problem. You have to engineer your own tiedowns and light setup. If you go with the diamond S contact me and I can help you with lighting and tiedowns.

I love my Diamond s. It is WAY more durable than a mountain fit or stock. Both are quite a bit lighter than a stock hood. The Diamond s provides good cooling also.

go with a mountian fit hood ask bill at mt fit about the new cloth hoods that he his devloping you can get them so you can have stock gauges and head light un like the other tent style hoods like diamond shad one and hated it on my 05 m7 or even just a poly carb hoob from mt fit are great to they are light and dont cost a lot of money

I am in the same boat here. Does anyone have more pictures, for the money they all sound good, but what about the fit on the aftermarket hoods. I would like to keep my gauges and head light but would i could find a diffrent headlight setup. Please more picks!!!:D

Br Tech makes a good looking hood for cheap. Its called Thrasher and you cut all your own holes in it. Its like 130 bucks with 30 shipping.

I replaced my hood with a stock one a month ago. they are made cheap, and once they crack they dont stop. This weekend I slapped my hood with my head and put a hole in the side. Going with an R&M hood this time. Artic Cat hoods dont hold up.

I sideswiped a tree and knocked off a small piece on the left hand side of the hood. Ordered a new one. Price? $689 plus 80 shipping. I should have gone back and found the piece and glued it back on.

A brand new hood for a 2008 M1000 white no decals is only $450.00 from Babbits sports racing and that`s retail price
