M-10 rear shock adjustment.

I have an m-10 in my nytro and am wondering what the rear shock adjustment on th rails does exactly. moving the bottom of the rear shock forward and rearward does to the skid and how it changes the reaction of the skid. Does moving it forward apply more ski pressure? does moving it to the rear make it easier to lay over and side hill?
Thanks in advance.

You are correct, moving it back takes ski pressure down a bit and will let you move the front end around a little easier. Do you have a coil over or an Airwave rear shock?

Still learning myself, but I have my rear airbag all the way back with 70psi in it; i weigh 170. Seems to work really well with just the right amount of transfer. You can adjust ski pressure more with the preload on the front shock, but I haven't touched mine.

Thank you very much. I have airwave font and rear shocks. what kind of pressure should i run. I am currently 80 rear and 60 front . also tried 65 rear and 60 front. what works best for moving front end around eaiser?

Thanks Jamie

The airwave shock has an adjustment collar on it as well, you can reduce or increase the travel of the shock with that, more travel = more ski lift. I am a big dude and I climb so I run my rear at 150 lbs and front at 40 lbs. The limiter strap will affect ski lift more than anything else, looser will give you more ski lift and manouverability in the trees etc. You should be pretty good at 65/60 to move the front end around, just be sure your limiter strap is not to tight.
