lugs on 2.6 track fallen off

my belt has taken severe damage after 800 (km)
anyone else experience the same?.. 3 lugs on the same row and alot off small pieces(half moons) on many lugs has also chipped off

I was curious if this would ever come up. Last year when I saw the axys at the expo for the first time, the display/demo had torn lugs just like yours...

I absolutely think the track is weaker than the old 2.4. Its soooo light. Mine shows more signs of wear than any of my buddy's old pro tracks with 2-3x the miles.

Personally I love the Axys. I just wish Polaris would stop the silly weight game and build a sled for the average joe who doesn't want to wrench and blow money all year. I know, the Assualt/SKS is sort of that sled but there are too many things that would perform *much* better for the long haul if they'd accept a 10% weight gain overall.

I have about 300 miles. Mines still perfect. I try to miss rocks stumps and trees.

I'm missing some lugs. I've hit some hard things too though. Maybe the trade off would be go to the camo x3.2. Weight but maybe added durability?

The tracks keep getting lighter and better, a good trend. I hope Polaris keeps it up.

Polaris- how about a quick change track system? Give us the option to easily swap tracks for the conditions.

Those lugs don't look like they "fell off". But I do think that the 2.6 is not as durable as other tracks (namely the CE tracks). But at some point each of us have to determine what is acceptable for the lightweight savings. Lots of savings with a light track once it is spinning.

750 miles on our demo with all kinds of animals riding it and the track looks great. But we have tons of snow. Id guess the one with abnormal wear have either hit stuff, ran them too fast or in marginal snow conditions, or all of the above.

That's not uncommon at all for those that remove the front wheels in the skid - I see it all the time. The track's leading edge gets hot from friction then and the base of the lugs weakens enough to tear. Just because you're a mtn rider doesn't mean you don't need those front wheels peeps!

Have FUN!

Did you put a new rear bumber on this sled? My 15 pro had had the factory installed Terrain Domination rear bumber with the threaded bolt shafts sticking into the tunnel over 1 inch. This tore up the outside lugs on both sides when the suspension compressed completely. Luckily got Polaris to warranty the track.
