Lowlifes in Kremling

Too bad to hear about the theft. If Kremmling is dying, someone needs to tell that to the people with land for sale around there. They got it priced like it's slopeside acerage at Breck or Winter Park. (Not really, but for an area with nothing really going on, most people are pretty proud of their land for sale still)

Actually, land for sale there is nothing compared to what is being asked in Eagle County, you know that.

Dealer

I hear that they have a Cat and a New Poo dealer in Kremmling

But Eagle County is growing, not really experiencing the same severity of economic distress as Kremmling. I usually gauge the economy in Eagle by the number of Cranes in the Vail Valley.

Yep, growing so much that engineering companies that have been there for years are laying off employees that have worked for them for 15 years, growing so much that VR and East West aren't hiring full time employees, but more part time employees. Yep, that is growth.

That is a good reason to make a 1000 sf home on a 1/8th acre lot worth 750k.

I have worked in Eagle since 1998 and lived in kremmling since 1974. Eagle has always been overpriced and Kremmling has never grown. It has always been the affordable closet community and up until the last year, things were ok. Now people are having to look other places for work. I am working in Utah, 400 miles away from all that I love and care about, that thrills me.:(

I would love to own land in Kremmling, very cool place. Eagle county is struggling big time. There is not a lot of construction going on. Some "small" house and such but no major developments/projects/hotels.

Ralph, where in Utah are you working?

That's out huh...

The press conference was supposed to be Monday. I didn't want to be a dweeb and post gossip. I've been waiting for a post on here, but haven't seen anything yet. I've been checking the Polaris website and haven't seen anything.
