So my buddy that has a 05 KK900 won't take your guys advise to make the changes required to run his sled at low eleavtion. Says he talked to 2 cat dealers and they said I didn't know what I was talking about, all he has to do is rejet and ride it so they say. So how long you think till he blows it up LOL.:nono:
 
As long as he uses the right jets and needles he will be ok for awhile. But if he doesn't throw some heavier weights in his clutch it will be over reving all day long. From my reading the ecu/cdi is highly recommended but not a necessity ... but for 1000 fro I'm running 460 mains. Zr needle at 4th clip. Zr ecu. And 80gr weights and seems to work well
